When I was a little girl, I wanted a convertible so badly…. It just seemed like the epitome of cool… like you had REALLY made it if you had a convertible!

But… as I got a little older, it seemed totally impractical, totally unattainable, and one of those things you think about but totally never ever think it’s going to be for you.

I think my former self would totally be cheering me on, screaming in delight, and SO proud of me because we bought the impractical, super fun, “you’ve made it” kinda convertible a couple years ago.

And, you know what’s funny…. we did it RIGHT before everything locked down and it was one of the BEST things we’ve done because driving around in this thing, even if we can’t do other things, has been amazing!

When I set out to start my own business, I didn’t really know where it would take me… I wasn’t sure it would take me anywhere, actually… I had NO experience, but looking back, I am SO thankful that I decided to give it a try.

I can tell you that a convertible wasn’t my top goal, but as the usual expenses were covered, and savings were created, and we could do something kind of silly on OUR terms… well, that felt pretty darn good! And fulfilling a childhood vision for both of us, well, that felt even better!

In the long run, does a car really matter? Absolutely not! But all that it represents really does matter! And, now, it’s such a mission of mine to help other women get ahead in life, love their life, and help them avoid stress in regards to finances!

And, I am feeling more fired up about that than ever!
