They say that you know you’ve made fitness a habit when it takes more discipline to take your scheduled rest day than it does to work out.
So if you’re one of those gals who’s SUPPOSED to take a rest day today but you’d rather work out- I feel you!! I really do! BUT rest days are part of the program! Your body and your muscles in particular, need that time to rest, to repair themselves, and to grow! It’s necessary!
That doesn’t mean you can’t do anything at all though! If it makes you antsy, take a long walk, do some stretching or light yoga, or find a beautiful trail to explore!
