In their study, the researchers found that people who engaged in stress-busting exercise—like running on a treadmill—for 15 minutes reduced their craving for sweet, high calorie snacks by 23 percent. Those who stayed still saw no change. The reason: Stress busting exercise may reduce your need for a short-lived sugar boost.
