I know that seems like a simple statement, but it’s hard for me to admit. I’ve been training for a half marathon and I’ve seriously pulled a muscle in my right hip flexor…. This has sidelined me for this upcoming half marathon. It’s frustrating, it’s upsetting, BUT it’s not the end of the world and it’s something that I can overcome!
I had my first physical therapy on Tuesday and while I knew I probably wouldn’t get great news, I was still hopeful…. but to hear that my lower back problems from my car accident weakened my hip flexors was DEVASTATING to me (if you haven’t heard my story, take a listen here). Just when I’m moving past that, and getting stronger… it slaps me in the face again.
So this is me being real- no smoke and mirrors, just me- live and uncut!
