Cinnamon-Blueberry Oatmeal: 21 Day Fix Approved

Cinnamon Blueberry

     It’s berry season!!! I’m so excited because we’re kind of smack dab in the middle of blueberry season and I just picked up this HUGE container of organic blueberries from Trader Joe’s! I jokingly said that I didn’t think I’d be able to finish them all, but I LOVE them in my oatmeal- and I’m kind of obsessed with this reason right now! You’re going to love it and LOVE my secret ingredient! Sssshhhhh!

Ingredients

  • Steel Cut Oatmeal (1 Yellow)
  • Big Handful of Blueberries (1 Purple)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract (secret ingredient!)

Preparation

  1. To make your life really easy, make a big batch of steel cut oats on Sunday and if you store them in the fridge, you can eat them ALL week!  This is a meal prepping dream!
  2. Fill the yellow container with your pre-made steel cut oats.
  3. Add cinnamon and, the secret ingredient, vanilla extract and stir until combined. The reason the vanilla is so key is because it make this taste like a cookie- seriously you will die it’s so good!
  4. If you are using oatmeal that’s been in the fridge, add a little bit of water and microwave for one minute. Once heated, stir to mix in the water.
  5. Top with blueberries and enjoy!
