Beachbody’s Ultimate Reset: Day 10

Yahoo- we’ve made it to double digits! Honestly, when I get up in the morning, I feel pretty refreshed and I’m not craving coffee like I was before. Sometimes when you have that coffee addiction, it can really be an addiction to that warm liquid so tea is a  great option to help with this- especially green tea!

Today I’m actually UP 0.4 pounds and I’m glad it happened because it gives me a chance to talk about something. This is EXACTLY the reason why I don’t weigh myself everyday! This being the exception so I can fully document my journey. There are so many variables in our life and in our bodies that weight fluctuates from day to day. IF you’re going to weigh yourself, do it no more than once a week. You should weigh yourself at the same time of day and in my opinion, the best time is in the morning after you’ve gone to the bathroom.

Delicious fresh fruit again for breakfast today! I’m used to eating some grains for breakfast so this is a little different, but I’m hanging in. I LOVE fruit…. I just want some toast or oatmeal too- haha! You know what I mean! The key to eating fruit for breakfast is to watch your glycemic index levels- good options are berries, melons, peaches, nectarines, bing cherries, and green apples.

Lunch today was more of the Sweet Potato and Roasted Red Pepper soup and Greek Salad. That’s why I told you to go ahead and make extra soup last night. That made lunch SO easy today- just eat up the soup and over the weekend I had made up a bunch of salad and salad dressing so that was done too. We’re definitely getting better at planning ahead and being resourceful about things.

Alkalanize ain’t no big thang now! Just take it down and move on. Guys, I have to say that I am SO focused and efficient right now. This Reset is clearing my mind as well as my body and I am getting so much done! That is something I didn’t expect from this, but it’s a welcome surprise!

Dinner was yummy!! Quinoa Lentil Pilaf and steamed broccoli! The quinoa and lentils all basically cook in vegetable broth so it’s really flavorful and very hearty! Of course, I LOVE steamed broccoli so this dinner was right up my alley! This Quinoa Lentil Pilaf is also for lunch tomorrow so make double portions!

So some may think this is TMI, but I really want to share with you guys so you know what to expect. I’m definitely having more movement because of the Detox supplement. Now, before you freak out- it’s NOT running to the bathroom every 5 minutes. It’s just more coming out, you got me? But nothing uncomfortable it’s not disrupting my daily life at all so nothing to fear there! So excited that we’re on the down slope of the Reset tomorrow!
