Beachbody’s Ultimate Reset: Day 7

Day 7

We made it!! Well, to a little milestone anyway and I truly believe in celebrating those! So imagine a little happy dance here. I’m down another 0.2 pounds so this is getting pretty exciting! I should mention that I’m not usually one to weigh myself daily- in fact, I NEVER do that! But this is such an interesting detox that I just really was curious how my weight would fluctuate on it so that’s why I have such weight measurements. I assure you this is not my normal practice and it kind of makes me crazy so after this, I’ll be back to using measurements!
So I realized today that I didn’t take any pictures of my food- whooops! But you’ve seen it all before! For breakfast, it was steel cut oats, fruit, organic plain yogurt sweetened with honey. The only difference was that this time we added flax seed to the oatmeal so that was different! I’ve never added flax seed to anything before so that was kind of exciting. It’s easy to blend into oatmeal and has a real hearty flavor. Oatmeal makes me really happy- it’s so warm and delicious in the morning. I think this may be the last of the oatmeal during the Reset, so I’ll look forward to it on Day 22 😀

Lunch today was the OH SO DELICIOUS zucchini cashew soup! You know, I was actually really looking forward to it today- haha! I feel like telling everyone I know about the soup because it’s just so good! And so healthy too- no creams, no milks, no oils, no butter- nothing! It’s just good! It tastes like it would have cream and about a million other ingredients in it, but it doesn’t- it’s just so simple and yummy!

So even Neil agreed that Alkalinize wasn’t so bad today- we’re making progress here! Just so you know, Alkalinize is something that you take every day for all 21 days so I’m thrilled that it’s growing on us. Whatever’s in it, my body need it and that makes it so much better!

So total confession time! Tonight was supposed to be another round of baked tempeh, but…. we just couldn’t do it! We’ve decided to take the bean route for tempeh from now on. So basically tonight’s dinner was pinto beans, brown rice and steamed broccoli! All very delicious! I added just a dash of Liquid Amios to it for some added flavor. Super easy dinner tonight! Now if you do decide you like Tempeh, make sure that you go ahead and make enough for the breakfast yesterday and dinner tonight so it’s done.

And we’ve officially made it through the first 7 days of the Ultimate Reset! That means we’re moving on from the Reclaim Phase to the Release Phase! Tomorrow we start on Detox so that will be interesting- not sure how that will be so I’ll be sure to update you! I’m feeling good, I’m waking up before I have to get up and feel fine about it, and I can’t wait to see what the next 14 days will bring!
